BevistoSept plus is an alcoholic surface disinfectant ready for use for cleaning and disinfecting alcohol-resistant surfaces of medical devices such as medical inventory and operation tables. For all alcohol-resistant surfaces and objects, particularly for surfaces of machines. Very good material compatibility with regard to the typical plastics (exceptions: acrylic and polycarbonate glass). Not suitable for use on screens and other surfaces which are neither resistant to alcohol nor to corrosion.

Remove visible contamination before disinfection. Completely moisten the objects or surfaces and let it take effect. Quick drying without leaving any residues. After opening use product up within 12 months.

Wipe the surfaces and objects to clean and disinfect carefully by completely moistening them. Follow the contact times. Shelf-life after opening: 28 days Take the cap off the tin. Cut the refill bag/ top side inside open (leave wipes [roll] in the bag). Take first wipe from the middle of the roll through the opening of the distributor. Close the cap of the tin again. For easy taking of single wipes tear them transversely onward. Close cap again after use.

For all areas of application in which medical instruments are prepared by immersion method and in ultrasonic cleaners.

The instructions of use and maintenance guidelines for instruments and ultrasonic equipment as specified by the manufacturers must be followed; in particular the notes on measures of preparing instruments for cleaning and disinfecting, rinsing, drying and storage. Preparation notes Immersion method: Put the instruments immediately after use into the disinfecting solution. All surfaces and holes have to be covered resp. filled. Pay always attention to the concentrations and contact times. Take the instruments of the container, rinse them thoroughly with water and dry them. Ultrasonic cleaners: Observe the required frequency range and the required disinfecting time. Avoid water tem-peratures of more than 45 °C.

Surfactants, anticorrosive agents, suspending agents, additives as well as pH regulators.

According to the criteria of the OECD Bevisto‑Instrumental is biodegradable. The Bevisto-Instrumental working solution can be disposed of in waste water. In case of proper discharge a disruption of the biological sewage plant is not to be expected.
